Carlos says: Do a simple full A-shape (Gable End) on the south side. The Dutch Gable from the photo is more complicated and not needed.

Also: the overhang depth is already set (by the dining table area) and can't be different on one side — the fascia board must be the same height all around.

Overhang בליטת גג
How far the roof sticks out past the wall. The rafter tails (wooden beams) are what create it. Carlos wants "overhang" to mean specifically the distance from wall to fascia board.
