Four Themes

These guiding ideas shape every decision — from where boulders sit to which trees line the boundaries.

Naturalistic rocks and boulders in garden

Naturalistic Rock & Boulder

Use existing and placed boulders as design features — not obstacles. Rock gardens integrated into planted areas, natural stone walls creating feature views from the terrace. Rocks around the Pebble Tech pool for a natural lagoon feel.

Lush layered tropical planting

Layered Wild Planting

Dense, multi-height planting that feels like walking through a jungle, not a resort garden. Canopy trees, mid-story flowering shrubs, ground cover ferns and creeping vines. The opposite of a manicured lawn.

Bamboo privacy screening

Privacy Through Planting

Dense bamboo hedging and Ficus (Korean banyan) along boundaries. Layered planting creates natural walls without feeling fenced in. Let the green do the work — no hard fences visible.

Natural lagoon pool with tropical planting

Pool as Natural Lagoon

Pebble Tech finish with planting right up to pool edges — not bare concrete everywhere. Consider a small waterfall feature using natural granite and volcanic rock. The pool should feel discovered, not installed.

Frangipani tree

Fragrance Everywhere

Frangipani and jasmine throughout the property. The garden should smell incredible at all times of day — sweet, floral, alive.

Layers of Green

Height and density create the jungle feeling. Each layer has a role.

Stone stepping path through garden

Japandi Hardscape

Natural stone stepping-stone paths. No poured concrete walkways. Clean lines, natural materials, minimal intervention. The path should feel like it grew there.
